During each LIVE training session focused on enhancing your painting skills, I'll pair it with various floral painting demonstrations over all five days to reinforce and highlight the lessons being taught.

This hands-on approach will show you how to apply the lessons to your own artwork.

Day 1: Loose Floral Bunch

We’ll kick off with a fun, a beginner-friendly exercise using real flower examples to explore tonal values and learn how they can enhance our paintings.

Day 2: Purple Bearded Iris 

Balancing water and paint can be tricky! Painting Irises is a great way to practice and understand water-to-paint ratios. And have fun mixing some juicy purples and greens!

Day 3: Sunflower 

Ever feel like your sunflowers look too flat? Learn how small tweaks can shift perspective and add depth. I'll show you how to simplify them for a more true-to-nature look.

Day 4: Paint Peonies like a Pro

Learn how to paint a peony composition that looks realistic yet loose and fresh using simplifying techniques that professional artists use. We will be using a real flower example in this lesson.

Day 5: Floral Composition 

Learn the fundamentals and methods to enhance your floral compositions as we bring different flowers together for our final lesson.

    → How to effectively use colors to captivate viewers and evoke the desired mood in your paintings. Includes a Video Demo of painting a Sunflower.
  • September 17 - Lesson 4 - Live ZOOM
    → Ways to achieve a loose and painterly style with minimal brush strokes. Includes a Video Demo of painting a Peony composition.      
  • September 18 - Lesson 5 - Live ZOOM
    → Flower Compositions - and the most impactful method to enhance your compositions. Includes a Video Demo of painting a floral composition.
